Routine Visits

Being consistent with dental checkups and cleanings is the best way to make sure that small problems do not become major ones. If you have dental insurance, they will usually cover 100% of the fee for an initial exam, a full set of x-rays and a cleaning. If it has been awhile since you have seen a dentist, you may need a more thorough cleaning that insurance will usually cover at 80%. If you do not have insurance, the fee for a simple cleaning and exam is $76 and a full set of x-rays is $75.
