Dental Salon has some exciting news to share - the addition of specialists to our team! In some circumstances you may require the attention of a specialist who can focus on a specific area of your oral health. Traditionally, you would be referred to a different office outside of your general or cosmetic dentist's office and have to make a separate appointment, find a new place to park and fill out extra paperwork. Ugh! This is no longer the case at Dental Salon. We have brought on a periodontist, Dr. John Micaletti. He specializes in issues related to your gums as well as dental implants. Dr. Kevin Andrus, an oral surgeon has also joined our team. He will be able to help with taking out those wisdom teeth! You may think orthodontics has been left out but fear not. All of our general dentists are certified in Invisalign, which is a system of clear braces. Dental Salon can save you time and headache while providing you excellent care right here in our office. Meet Fabián, one of our newest additions to the Dental Salon team. Fabián, born and raised in Chicago, was hired last year after completing his undergraduate studies in biology and psychology from Loyola University Chicago. Fresh out of school and with two years of dental assisting experience under his belt, Fabián arrived prepared to rise to the challenge of giving patients the best experience they have ever had in a dental office. Fabián will be heading to law school in the fall of this year where he plans to specialize in healthcare law. He is committed to helping the underprivileged get the healthcare treatment they so greatly need and deserve. That is why working at Dental Salon will allow him to gain invaluable perspective; Fabián believes that a skilled attorney, like a health practitioner, must be aware not only of the objective and rational solutions, but also of the emotional and social consequences.
