Katrina

Hello! My name is Katrina. I have been working at Dental Salon since late 2007, and have been certified in coronal polishing.

Earlier this year I left the corporate world in search of a career that I could be passionate about. After researching a multitude of fields I came across dentistry and immediately fell in love. Everyday I receive the pleasure of going to work knowing that I am making a difference in the way our patients feel about themselves and face the world, by creating beautiful smiles.

I moved to Chicago three years ago after residing in Bloomington, IL while working on my Bachelors degree at Illinois State University (in English); and I cannot imagine ever living anywhere else in Illinois again. In my free time I enjoy reading, doing charity walks/runs, volunteering at our local animal shelter, going to dinners with my girlfriends, and spending down time with my husband and our four pets (2 dogs and 2 parrots).

I am currently completing my prerequisites for the Dental Hygiene program. I can't wait to meet you!
