Our Story

Dental Salon was started on January 2, 2003 by Dr. Mark Morris. After working for several dental practices, Dr. Morris wanted to establish one that played against the usual stereotypes of drab, boring offices that smelled funny. The name Dental Salon was chosen because “it sounded good” according to Dr. Morris (and the web address was available)!

The first few months were very slow and Dr. Morris and his two employees would walk around the neighborhood and hand out flyers and business cards between patients. Fortunately, word got around about the nice new practice and business grew. By 2006, Dental Salon had become a group dental practice with four dentists and the office was expanded to add more dental chairs.

Today, there are ten dentists and every dental specialty is represented. The office is open seven days a week and Dental Salon is the largest practice in the Lincoln Park area. Offering everything you need in one place with a perfect schedule for working professionals, Dental Salon offers quality, value, and convenience that is hard to beat.
