Sharmi Shah, DMD

Hi, my name is Sharmi Shah, and I am a dentist here at Dental Salon. I am originally from Chicago, and earned my undergraduate education at Loyola University in Chicago. I graduated dental school from Boston University, and chose to enhance my education by completing a year long residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry. Prior to moving back to Chicago, I worked in Boston as an associate in private practice.

I truly value the dentist-patient relationship, and feel that it is the integral part of good communication. I do all I can to put any fearful patients at ease, and do my best to educate patients in the importance of oral healthcare. I am interested in all facets of general dentistry, from root canals to cosmetic dentistry and try to keep up to date with the newest technologies and materials through continuing education courses. I am also certified in Invisalign. I am a member of numerous dental organizations throughout the east coast and the Midwest.

In my spare time, I love to travel and adore spending time with my family and friends. I am thrilled to finally be back in Chicago and start practicing at Dental Salon among such a talented group of dentists.

I can’t wait to work with you, and will do all I can to make your visit as friendly and comfortable as possible. I look forward to meeting you.
